Babylon Version 8.0 updates

• Document Translation
  Babylon 8 enables the translation of any document from your PC. It is now easy to select a document (MS Word, PDF, text file, etc.) and have Babylon translate it to any language.
• Easier Access
  Babylon perceives your needs! A new contextual access feature suggests the suitable translation service, spell-checker, unit conversion, and other translation assisting tools. Babylon’s helpful features will be available to you only when you need them.
• Definition and Translation with MS Office speller
  Babylon automatically integrates with Microsoft Office. Do you write in multiple languages? When you get the spelling suggestions from MS Office, Babylon provides a short definition for each suggestion indicated in MS Office’s speller menu. This feature can be configured to any language.
• Language Detection
  Many applications need configuration files. With Babylon 8, there is no need for you to configure languages for translation.On web-page translation and translation of text, Babylon identifies the text language that you chose and will remember your latest target language. Therefore, no user intervention is required - Babylon does it all for you.
• Easier Language Configuration
  Access to changing language settings is now available for short or long term. Whether you need a quick translation for a term in a language you rarely use or one in a language that that you require all the time - Babylon now puts its emphasis on language configuration.
• New Content
  Babylon 8 comes with a new dictionary pack, including updated Babylon dictionaries and 17 new Wikipedia titles.Babylon has dictionaries and glossaries in over 75 languages, all added freely to the software.

Babylon Version 7.0 updates

• Spellcheck in Internet Explorer - checks and corrects the spelling of text typed in Internet Explorer text entry areas.
• New "web search" button - performs a Google-powered search for the queried term.
• New GUI look and feel with appearance customization options.
• New Go button features - additional options for querying terms and defining target translation languages.
• Smart Dictionary - enables translation between two languages when a direct translation dictionary is not available.
• Autocompletion - predicts the word or phrase the user wants to query and automatically suggests choices for completing the word.
• Dictionary browse index directs to Lingoz.com (an online language community established by Babylon).
