• Can I add languages to the Text Translator?

• No. The list of languages is fixed and cannot be edited.
  
  The list of source and target languages in the text translator cannot be edited, and will not be affected by adding dictionaries.
  The list contains these languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, German, Russian, Chinese t, Chinese s, Korean, Turkish, Hebrew, Arabic, Polish, Ukranian, and Farsi.

• How do I translate texts?

• Text Translation is available starting version 6.
  When you Babylon-click a word, its surrounding text is captured as well, and automatically loaded into the Text Translation service which acts as a built in dictionary.
  Most of the time Babylon recognizes the source language but you will have to select the target language that you want to translate (Babylon will remember the last selection).
  
  You can also access the Text Translation service from the side-bar or from the drop down menu next to the Go button and directly type in or paste in text.

• Can I use the Text Translator Offline?

• No. The Text Translation service is an online service, you need to connect to the Internet to use this service.
  
  If you are connected to the Internet and are still not get the Text Translation service, the Text Translation service is unchecked in your Dictionary Options tab. You need to check the Text Translation box in order to receive this service.

• The Text Translation isn't as good as I'd like it to be. Can you make it more accurate?

• The Text Translation service returns translations that have been automatically translated by state-of-the-art technology.
  However, today's most sophisticated text translation software does not approach the fluency of a native speaker or possess the skill of a professional translator.
  Machine translation is not accurate as the meaning of words depends upon the context in which they are used. Because of this, accurate translation requires an understanding of the context, as well as an understanding of the structure and rules of the language. While many engineers and linguistics are working on the problem, it will be some time before anyone can offer a quick and seamless machine translation experience. In the interim, we hope the service we provide is useful for most purposes.
