The Results pane displays all the all translations and definitions for a queried term.
Text in the Results pane can be selected using the mouse as in any Windows application. Simply click and drag the mouse to select text.
To perform actions on selected text, first select the text, and then right-click to open the Results menu. The menu has the following options:
The Say It feature lets you hear the pronunciation of words and phrases.
This option requires a sound card and speakers or headset on your computer.
Say It is an add-on that can be downloaded from the Babylon website and installed separately. When downloading, you can choose to install either a male or female voice.
By default, Babylon uses the English text-to-speech (TTS) engine installed with the operating system. To hear pronunciation of words in other languages, you must download and install additional text-to-speech engines.
The Say It settings can be changed from the Configuration menu / Miscellaneous tab.
To hear the pronunciation of words or phrases displayed within the Results pane, mark the text with the mouse, right-click to open the menu, and select Say It.
To hear the pronunciation of words displayed in the Term Box, click the Say It button on the toolbar.
