Zugot
Zugot ((təqūphāth) hazZūghôth) refers to the period during the time of the Second Temple (515 BCE - 70 CE), in which the spiritual leadership of the Jewish people was in the hands of five successive generations of zugot ("pairs") of religious teachers.

Zugot
Als Zugot (hebr. Paare; auch Sugot) oder die fünf Paare bezeichnet man eine Reihe von jüdischen Schriftgelehrten im Zeitalter des 2. Tempels, sie sind unmittelbare Vorläufer der Mischna-Lehrer (Tannaiten).

Zougot
Au sens général, un zoug (au pluriel zougot, de l'hébreu זּוּגוֹת « paires ») désigne un couple ou une paire d'objets ou d'individus de nature similaire. L'historiographie judaïque utilise ce terme en référence aux cinq couples de Sages d'Israël les plus importants de leur époque, associés dans la direction de la Grande Assemblée, puis du Sanhédrin.

Zugot
Zugot (hebr. הזוגות pary ) - w historii judaizmu 10 uczonych zgrupowanych w następujące po sobie pary. Należeli do faryzeuszy i wywarli wielki wpływ na kształtowanie się prawodawstwa żydowskiego opartego na Torze ustnej. Liczne ich sentencje, a także pewne anegdotyczne informacje dotyczące biografii zawarte zostały w Talmudzie. Dokładne daty ich życia i działalności nie są znane. W kolejności następują:
- I. Jose ben Joezer z Ceredy i Jose ben Jochanan z Jerozolimy (rządy Szymona Machabeusza 142 - 135 p.n.e.)
- II. Jehoszua ben Perachia i Nittaj z Arbeli (rządy Jana Hyrkana I (135-104 p.n.e.)
- III. Szymon ben Szetach i Juda ben Tabbaj (działali za rządów Aleksandra Janneusza 103 - 76 p.n.e. i Aleksandry Salome 76 - 67 p.n.e.)
- IV. Szemaja i Abtaljon (Rządy Hyrkana II 63 - 40 p.n.e.)
- V. Hillel i Szammaj (Rządy Heroda Wielkiego)

ズーゴート
ズーグ、ズーゴート（תְּקוּפָה) הַזּוּגוֹת) zūghôth, zugot）は、タンナーイームに先行する時代のハラーハーの指導者であり、トーラー・シェベアル＝ペ（口伝律法）の伝承に責任を持った五組・五代の人間に対する名称。この時代をズーゴート時代（təqūphāh hazZūghôth）ともいう。
