A district is a type of administrative division, in some countries managed by a local government. Entities known as districts vary greatly in size, spanning entire regions or counties, several municipalities, or subdivisions of municipalities.

Woreda
Un woreda (woréda, wéréda, wereda) est une subdivision administrative de l'Éthiopie équivalente à un district. Les woredas sont constitués de plusieurs kébélés formant ainsi une zone régionale ethno-linguistique, ou kilil. Quelques worédas ne font partie d'aucun kilil et se nomment woredas spéciaux.

Woreda
Woreda (även stavat wereda) är en administrativ enhet i Etiopien. Woredas består av ett större antal så kallade kebele, eller grannskapsföreningar, vilka är den minsta administrativa enheten i Etiopien. De flesta Woredas tillhör någon zon (kilil). Några woredas är dock fristående från dessa zoner.

Woreda
Woreda (wymawiane też jako wereda) to jednostka podziału administracyjnego, niekiedy samorządowa, w Etiopii, odpowiednik powiatu.
W skład woredy wchodzi kilka kebele, lub innych lokalnych organizmów administracyjnych, będących najmniejszymi z jednostek podziału terytorialnego Etiopii (odpowiadają polskim gminom). Woredy najczęściej łączą się po kilka w strefy, tworzące kilile, niektóre woredy nie należą do żadnej strefy i mają status "wored specjalnych", pełniąc funkcję jednostek autonomicznych.
