White pages
White pages is a common name for a
telephone directory, primarily listing the details of residential customers. 'White pages' can be used as a generic term for a telephone directory, or as a trademarked name for a directory issued by a telecommunications provider or other source. In a printed telephone directory, the white pages are printed on white paper, to make them immediately distinguishable from the
yellow pages, i.e. commercial listings printed on yellow paper.
