White is the combination of all the colors of the visible light spectrum.. It is sometimes described as an achromatic color, like black.White is technically achromatic, and not a color, since it has no hue. The impression of white light can be created by mixing appropriate intensities of the primary colors of light — red, green and blue — a process called additive mixing, but the illumination provided by this technique has significant differences from that produced by incandescence.

Le blanc est la couleur d'un corps chauffé à environ 5 000 °C (voir l'article Corps noir). C'est la sensation visuelle obtenue avec un spectre lumineux continu, d'où l'image que l'on en donne parfois : « c'est la couleur obtenue en mélangeant la lumière de toutes les couleurs ». C'est la lumière que l'on obtient en observant du dioxyde de titane éclairé par le Soleil de midi.

Il bianco è un colore con alta luminosità ma senza tinta. Più precisamente contiene tutti i colori dello spettro elettromagnetico ed è chiamato anche colore acromatico. Il nero è l'assenza di colori.L'impressione della luce bianca è creata dall'unione di certe intensità dei colori primari dello spettro: rosso, verde e blu. Bisogna notare che l'illuminazione prodotta con questa tecnica è diversa da quella prodotta dall'incandescenza (vedi sotto).

Bianco è un comune di 4.312 abitanti della provincia di Reggio Calabria, situato sulla costa del territorio della Locride, nota come costa dei gelsomini.Deve il suo nome alle calanche colline calcaree che circondano il centro abitato e che dal mare apparivano ai marinai come una macchia bianca sulla costa.Il comune di Bianco ha ottenuto più volte, nei primi anni 2000, la bandiera blu d'Europa per il mare pulito, che attira ogni anno un numero di turisti elevato in proporzione al numero di residenti, e che costituisce la principale risorsa turistica.
