Whelp may refer to:
  • A Whelp: any young, carnivorous mammal, essentially one that is still dependent on its parent(s) for food; most commonly refers to a puppy
  • Whelping: the act of a carnivorous mammal, usually a dog, preparing to give Birth, going into labor, and finally birthing pups
  • Whelp (tidal bore) in an undular bore: the train of secondary waves behind the bore front
  • HMS Whelp: the name of one ship of the Royal Navy and of another which was planned but cancelled
