economics, a want is something
desired, distinct from a
need which is something that is necessary. It's said that we have unlimited wants, but limited supplied resources. Thus, we can't have everything we want and must look for the best alternatives sometimes that will cost us less. This may be distressing to some people and may lead to depression which can be avoided if other people can give them their original wants so long as it's not a great burden on others.

Désir
Le désir est une
tension issue d'un sentiment de manque et en ce sens on ne désire que ce dont on manque. L'être tend vers un but considéré comme une source de
satisfaction. Le désir est tantôt considéré positivement comme un moteur, tantôt considéré négativement comme une source de souffrance, une forme d'

Tauwerk der
Takelage eines
Segelschiffes oder
-bootes, das bei
Manövern nicht bewegt wird (Ausnahme
Backstagen). Es dient dem Absteifen von
Masten und anderen festen
Rahen. Ohne diese Absteifungen würde ein Mast unter dem Winddruck brechen.Stehendes Gut kann aus Tauwerk, aus Drahtseilen oder aus Ketten, in Ausnahmefällen auch aus Zugstäben, bestehen. Auf heutigen
Jollen und
Yachten werden meist Drahtseile verwendet. Auf Segelyachten werden Wanten und Stage auch zum Einstellen des Segelprofiles (
Segeltrimm) verwendet.
