WALE (990 AM) is a radio station licensed to the community of Greenville, Rhode Island, and serving the Providence, Rhode Island, area. The station is owned by Cumbre Communications Corp. The station is currently silent.

Wale (Olubowale Victor Akintimehin) är en amerikansk hiphopartist från Washington DC. Efter att ha rappat på mixtapes sedan 2005, signerade Wale under 2009 kontrakt med Interscope Records och släppte sitt debutalbum Attention Deficit. Han klassificeras tillsammans med Drake, Asher Roth och Kid Cudi som "New School" och anses därmed tillhöra nästa generations hiphopartister. Wale har även Jay-Z som mentor.
