United Nations Industrial Development Organization
The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), French/Spanish acronym ONUDI, is a specialized agency in the United Nations system, headquartered in Vienna, Austria. The Organization's primary objective is the promotion and acceleration of industrial development in developing countries and countries with economies in transition and the promotion of international industrial cooperation. It is also a member of the United Nations Development Group.

Organizacja Narodów Zjednoczonych do spraw Rozwoju Przemyslowego
Organizacja Narodów Zjednoczonych ds. Rozwoju Przemysłowego (ang. United Nations Industrial Development Organization - UNIDO) Powstała w 1966 roku jako organ Zgromadzenia Ogólnego ONZ. W charakterze organizacji wyspecjalizowanej działa od 1986 r. Główną siedzibą organizacji jest Wiedeń.
Cele organizacji:
- popieranie rozwoju przemysłu krajów rozwijających się w formie organizowania współpracy regionalnej i krajowej
- pomoc przy modernizacji przemysłu
- wypracowanie nowych koncepcji rozwoju ekonomicznego
