Hungary ( ) is a country, which is located in Central Europe. It is situated in the Carpathian Basin and is bordered by Slovakia to the north, Ukraine and Romania to the east, Serbia and Croatia to the south, Slovenia to the southwest and Austria to the west. The country's capital, and largest city, is Budapest. Hungary is a member of the European Union, NATO, the OECD, the Visegrád Group, and is a Schengen state. The official language is Hungarian, also known as Magyar, which is part of the Finno-Ugric group and is the most widely spoken non-Indo-European language in Europe.

Ungarn (ungarisch Magyarország), amtlich Republik Ungarn (ungarisch Magyar Köztársaság, ) ist ein Binnenstaat in Mitteleuropa, der zum Großteil im Pannonischen Becken liegt. Nachbarstaaten sind Österreich, die Slowakei, die Ukraine, Rumänien, Serbien, Kroatien und Slowenien. Ungarn, im Jahr 1000 gegründet, ist seit dem 1. Mai 2004 Mitgliedstaat der Europäischen Union (siehe EU-Erweiterung 2004). Die Länge der Außengrenze beträgt 2.009 km. Davon entfallen auf Österreich 366 km, die Slowakei 515 km, die Ukraine 103 km, Rumänien 443 km, Serbien 151 km, Kroatien 329 km und Slowenien 102 km.

La Hongrie, ou République de Hongrie pour les usages officiels (Magyar Köztársaság en hongrois, prononcé ) est un pays d'Europe centrale, membre de l'Union européenne, entouré par l'Autriche, la Slovaquie, l'Ukraine, la Roumanie, la Serbie, la Croatie et la Slovénie.

Ungern, formellt Republiken Ungern, (ungerska: Magyarország ) är en republik i Centraleuropa. Ungerns huvudstad är Budapest. Landet gränsar till Österrike, Slovakien, Ukraina, Rumänien, Serbien, Kroatien och Slovenien.

Węgry (węg. Magyarország; Republika Węgierska, Magyar Köztársaság) – państwo w Europie Środkowej. Od 2004 r. należy do Unii Europejskiej.
