The ulna is one of the two long bones in the forearm, the other being the radius. It is prismatic in form and runs parallel to the radius, which is shorter and smaller. In anatomical position (i.e. when the arms are down at the sides of the body and the palms of the hands face forward) the ulna is located at the side of the forearm closest to the body (the medial side), the side of the little finger.

Die Ulna (lat. für Elle) ist neben dem Radius (Speiche) einer der beiden Knochen des Unterarmes. Die Elle ist kleinfingerseitig gelegen, weniger kräftig als die Speiche und ein typischer Röhrenknochen.

Anciennement appelé cubitus (terme toujours employé dans le langage courant), l’ulna est l’un des deux os de l’avant-bras avec le radius.

Armbågsben (latin: ulna) är, i människans skelett, ett långt ben i underarmen, placerat medialt om strålbenet (radius).

Kość łokciowa (łac. ulna) – jest kością długą. Nasada bliższa jest zaopatrzona w dwa wyrostki. Wyrostek tylny większy stanowi górne zakończenie kości i nazywa się wyrostkiem łokciowym. Mniejszy, niżej położony i skierowany swym wierzchołkiem do przodu to wyrostek dziobiasty. Trzon kości łokciowej ma w przekroju poprzecznym kształt trójkątny. Wyróżniamy trzy brzegi ograniczające trzy powierzchnie: przednią, przyśrodkową i tylną. Nasadę dalszą stanowi głowa kości łokciowej, przedłużająca się po stronie przyśrodkowej w wyrostek rylcowaty. Głowa kości łokciowej jest zakończona powierzchnią dla połączenia z trójkątną chrząstką, oddzielającą tę kość od nadgarstka.
