TOGs
Terry's Old Geezers/Gals (often nicknamed "TOGs") are people who listen to
Sir Terry Wogan's radio show on
BBC Radio 2. They often take on
pseudonyms, as did the
newsreaders, prior to February 2007. They were:
John Marsh - "Boggy Marsh"
Alan Dedicoat - "Deadly Alancoat"
Fran Godfrey - "Mimi" (me, me, me, me, me...) After February, Boggy Marsh took Compulsory
Retirement, at the age of 60. This caused a reshuffle of staff, and the introduction of a new Travel Announcer,
Lynn Bowles, whom the TOGs often refer to as the "Traffic Totty".
