All those diseases-cancerous, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, hepatic, immune, neonatal, ocular, osteologic, renal, respiratory, and other disorders-that result from the smoking, chewing, and/or snuffing of tobacco, and/or the breathing of tobacco smoke. Reimert Thorolf Ravenholt, M.D., M.P.H, coined the word “tobaccosis” in the late 1980s.
