Diezmo
El diezmo (del latín decimus, décimo) es un impuesto del diez por ciento (la décima parte de todas las ganancias) que se debía pagar a un rey, gobernante, o líder eclesiástico.
Según la RAE, es el derecho del diez por ciento que se pagaba al rey sobre el valor de las mercaderías que se traficaban y llegaban a los puertos, o entraban y pasaban de un reino a otro.
