TEMPO

(2,2,6,6-Tetramethylpiperidin-1-yl)oxyl, or (2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-1-yl)oxidanyl or TEMPO is a chemical compound with the formula (CH₂)₃(CMe₂)₂NO (see diagram). This heterocycle is a red-orange, sublimable solid. As a stable radical, it has applications throughout chemistry and biochemistry. TEMPO was discovered by Lebedev and Kazarnowskii in 1960. It is prepared by oxidation of 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine. TEMPO is widely used as a radical trap, as a structural probe for biological systems in conjunction with electron spin resonance spectroscopy, as a reagent in organic synthesis, and as a mediator in controlled free radical polymerization. The stability of this radical is attributed to the steric protection provided by the four methyl groups adjacent to the nitroxyl group.

Das Tempo (ital. „Zeit“; Plural: Tempi /'tmpi/; von lat. tempus; dt. auch Zeitmaß) gibt in der Musik an, wie schnell ein Stück zu spielen ist. Zusätzlich sind viele Tempobezeichnungen gleichzeitig auch Ausdrucksbezeichnungen, geben also auch über den beabsichtigten Charakter eines Musikstücks Auskunft.

Dans le solfège, le tempo — au pluriel : des tempos et non des "tempi", seul pluriel français valide, selon Grevisse (voir ce verbo sur le pluriel des mots étrangers) — est l'allure (la rapidité relative, la vitesse, ou encore, le mouvement) d'exécution d'un morceau de musique. C'est ainsi qu'un tempo rapide détermine des temps courts, tandis qu'un tempo lent détermine des temps longs. On peut donc dire que temps et tempo renvoient au même phénomène sous des éclairages différents.

Tempo (muzyka)

Tempo (agogika) oznacza, jak szybko utwór ma być wykonany. Tradycyjnie tempo określa się włoskimi nazwami, które związane ze sposobem wykonania utworu, opisują tempo w sposób przybliżony.

W różnych szkołach i w różnych okresach historycznych różnie je interpretowano. Ściślejsze określenie tempa stało się możliwe od czasu wynalezienia metronomu. Rzadko jednak podaje się ścisłą częstość, raczej przedział częstości, interpretację zostawiając grającemu.

Tempo można wyznaczać za pomocą:

Metronomu (wyżej wspomnianego)
Słownych określeń włoskich
Poprzez określenie czasu trwania utworu np. ca = 15 (cały utwór ma trwać 15 minut)

Sposób pierwszy i trzeci wyznaczają tempo bezwzględne, drugi zaś tempo względne, które odczuwamy indywidualnie.
