生物分类法，又稱科學分類法，是生物學用來對生物的物種進行歸類的辦法。現代生物分類法源於林奈的系統，他根據物種共有的生理特徵進行了分類。在林奈之後，根據達爾文關於共同祖先的原則，此系統被逐漸改進。近年來，分子系統學應用了生物信息學方法分析基因組DNA，正在大幅改動很多原有的分類。生物分類法屬於分類學以及生物系統學。
