Tarantula
"Tarantula" / "Fasten Your Seatbelt" is the fourth single by Australian drum and bass band Pendulum. It was released on 27 June 2005 by independent label Breakbeat Kaos, and was their second release with the label. While "Fasten Your Seatbelt" featured the Freestylers, "Tarantula" featured Fresh and $pyda, together with Tenor Fly from the Freestylers. It peaked number 60 on the UK Singles chart. Both songs were included on the CD release of Hold Your Colour a month later.

Tarantulas (as the term is used in North America) comprise a group of often hairy and very large arachnids belonging to the family Theraphosidae, of which approximately 900 species have been identified. Although some members of the same suborder may also be called "tarantulas" in the common parlance, this article only describes members of Theraphosidae.

Outrospective
Outrospective is the third album by Faithless, released on 18 June 2001 it was the follow-up to Sunday 8PM and the predecessor to No Roots. The Single "We Come 1" had the most success charting at no. 3 on the UK Singles Chart, "One Step Too Far" charted at no. 6 with vocals from Dido, while "Muhammad Ali" and "Tarantula" both charted at no. 29. The Album itself made no. 4 on the UK Albums Chart. The cover photograph was taken during the May 1968 students uprisings in Paris, France. In the cover booklet of Forever Faithless - The Greatest Hits, Rollo Armstrong has stated that despite "Outrospective" being their biggest selling album in the UK, it is, however, his least favorite.

La Tarántula
La Tarántula in Parque de Atracciones de Madrid (Madrid, Spanien) ist eine Stahlachterbahn vom Modell Xtended SC 3000 des Herstellers Maurer Söhne, die am 14. Mai 2005 eröffnet wurde. Zurzeit ist sie der einzige Spinning Coaster in Spanien.

Hold Your Colour
Hold Your Colour est le premier album de Pendulum, groupe de Drum 'n Bass / Jungle australien, sorti en 2005. Il reçut un accueil très favorable en Angleterre et en Australie, pays d'origine du trio, où il se plaça comme une des albums du genre les plus vendus, avec "New Forms" de Roni Size. Pendulum collabore pour cet album avec de nombreux MC's, tels que $pyda, Tenor Fly, ou encore Fats, mais aussi avec d'autres personnalités tel que Dj Fresh, TC et Jasmin Yee.

Theraphosidae
Les Theraphosidae (du grec thera, « bête sauvage » et phos, « lumière ») sont une grande d'araignées mygalomorphes que l'on appelle mygale, elles sont de mœurs nocturnes. Les mygalomorphes ne sont pas toutes des mygales, par exemple Atrax robustus. Leur corps atteint en général de 2,5 à 8 cm (sans compter les pattes), ou de 8 à 20 cm (en les comptant). Leur poids moyen est entre 60 à 90 grammes. La majorité des membres sont noirs ou brun foncé. En dehors de la pilosité habituelle, certaines espèces sont recouvertes sous l'abdomen de poils urticantes, qui servent de moyen de défense.

Fågelspindlar, i Amerika kallas fågelspindlar oegentligt tarantulas, försvenskat till tarantlar, familjen Theraphosidae, omfattar 843 arter i 13 underfamiljer. De flesta arter av fågelspindlar är ofarliga för människan. Tarantel är vissa sydeuropeiska vargspindlar.

Tarantula (Lycosa tarantula) - drapieżny gatunek pająka.
Wygląd: Dorasta prawie do 3 cm, ale dzięki długim, mocnym nogom wydaje się większa. Tarantula włoska należy do bardzo bogatej w gatunki rodziny pogońcowatych (Lycosidea), goniących swoje ofiary lub polujących z zasadzki, by ją dopaść. Ich wyjątkowo silne szczękoczułki służą do wstrzykiwania jadu w ciało ofiar.

Ptasznikowate
Ptasznikowate (Theraphosidae syn. Aviculariidae) - rodzina pająków z podrzędu Opisthothela, sekcji Orthognatha (syn. Mygalomorpha).
Obejmuje ok. 850 gatunków dużych zwierząt o bardzo różnorodnym ubarwieniu - od czarnych po różne kombinacje koloru zielonego, żółtego, czerwonego, pomarańczowego itp. Ptaszniki żyją w głównie w strefie tropikalnej Ameryki Południowej, Afryki i Azji. Występują również w niektórych regionach południa Europy i południowej części USA (Eurypelma californica).
