"Tabularium" is a term for a record building. A number of other tabularia were scattered around Rome and other ancient Roman cities, but this article is about the prototype example.

The Tabularium was the official records office of ancient Rome, and also housed the offices of many city officials. Situated within the Roman Forum, it was on the front slope of the Capitoline Hill, below the Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus, to the southeast of the Arx and Tarpeian Rock.

Als Tabularium wurden zu Zeit des antiken römischen Reichs Gebäude und Räume zur Aufbewahrung von Urkunden bezeichnet. Das bekannteste Tabularium war das Staatsarchiv des römischen Reichs in Rom. Es wurde 83–80 v. Chr. auf Anweisung des Diktators Sulla von Quintus Lutatius Catulus erbaut. In ihm wurden die Gesetze, Edikte und Verträge "auf Tafeln" aufbewahrt, welche von dem Magistrat Roms erstellt worden waren.

Le Tabularium était le bureau officiel des archives de la Rome antique (de Tabulae, Tablettes), il fut également siège de nombre de bureaux pour les fonctionnaires de la ville. Situé dans le Forum Romanum, sur la pente du Capitole, en contrebas du Temple de Jupiter Optimus Maximus, au sud-est des roches de l’Arx et Tarpéienne. Derrière le Tabularium, se dressaient le Temple de Vespasien et de Titus et celui de la Concorde, les Rostres et le reste du forum en direction du Colisée.

Tabularium (av latin tabula ’tavla’, ’urkund’) var en arkivbyggnad i antikens Rom, belägen på Capitoliums östsluttning.

Tabularium – archiwum państwowe, w którym przechowywano dokumenty spisane na tabliczkach, zwojach papirusu i pergaminu. Najstarsze, częściowo zachowane Tabularium w Rzymie zostało wzniesione w 78 p.n.e. przez Kwintusa Latatiusa Katulusa na Forum Romanum u stóp Kapitolu.
