The suona ( ; ; ); also called the laba or haidi is a Han Chinese shawm (oboe). It has a distinctively loud and high-pitched sound, and is used frequently in Chinese traditional music ensembles, particularly those that perform outdoors. It is an important instrument in the folk music of northern China, particularly the province of Shandong, where it has long been used for festival and military purposes. It is still used, in combination with sheng mouth organs, gongs, drums, and sometimes other instruments, in wedding and funeral processions. Such wind and percussion ensembles are called chuida or guchui.

La suona (sim : 唢呐 ; trad : 嗩吶 ; pin : suǒ nà), laba (喇叭 ; pin : lǎbā) ou haidi (海笛 ; pin : hǎidí) est un hautbois chinois sililaire à la zurna turque, dont il tire son nom. C'est un instrument sonore très fréquent dans le folklore chinois, particulièrement dans la provinde de Shandong. Il apparaît dans une peinture de la Route de la soie dès le mais ne figure par écrit qu'à partir de la dynastie Ming (1368–1644). C'est un instrument qui a intégré le foklore cubain, la trompeta china, suite à son importation par des imigrants chinois.

Suona (kinesiska: 唢呐), är ett kinesiskt blåsinstrument med rötter i Centralasien eller Persien (se zurna). Det spelas med dubbla rörblad, har en konisk borrning och är försett med ett klockstycke av mässing. Suona, som troligen kom till Kina redan på 300-talet men först omnämns i skriftliga källor från Mingdynastin, är ett mycket gällt och högljutt instrument som lämpar sig väl för spel utomhus. Det är framför allt vanligt i blåsorkestrar i Nordkina och används gärna vid exempelvis traditionella kinesiska högtider, bröllop och begravningar.

唢呐是中国民族吹管乐器的一种，由波斯傳入（Surna音譯），在西晉時期的新疆克孜爾石窟寺的壁畫中就已經出現了嗩吶演奏的繪畫，最晚在16世纪就在中国的民间流传了。唢呐的音色明亮，音量大，管身木制，成圆椎形，上端装有带哨子的铜管，下端套着一个铜制的喇叭口（稱作碗）。所以也称喇叭，在台灣民間稱為鼓吹，广东地区亦将之称为“八音”。
