Strong interaction
In particle physics, the strong interaction (also called the strong force, strong nuclear force, or color force) is one of the four fundamental interactions of nature, the others being electromagnetism, the weak interaction and gravitation. At atomic scale, it is about 100 times stronger than electromagnetism, which in turn is orders of magnitude stronger than the weak force interaction and gravitation.

Starke Wechselwirkung
Die starke Wechselwirkung (aus historischen Gründen auch Kernkraft oder starke Kernkraft genannt) ist eine der vier Grundkräfte der Physik. Mit ihr werden die Bindung zwischen Quarks in den Hadronen und auch – historisch zuerst – die Bindung zwischen Nukleonen (Protonen und Neutronen) im Atomkern erklärt.

Interaction ou force forte
L'interaction forte, ou force forte (appelée parfois force de couleur), est, avec la force de gravitation, la force électromagnétique, et l'interaction faible, une des quatre interactions fondamentales de la physique. Seuls les quarks et les antiquarks sont affectés par cette force qui est portée par des bosons appelées gluons (de la même façon que la force électromagnétique est portée par les photons). Cette force forte maintient les quarks ensemble pour former les baryons, tels que les protons ou les neutrons et pour former les mésons, tels les pions ou les kaons. Tous les ensembles de quarks (i.e. les baryons et les mésons) sont nommés hadrons.

Stark växelverkan
Den starka växelverkan, eller den starka kärnkraften, är en av de fyra kända fundamentala krafterna inom fysiken. Denna kraft är cirka 1038 gånger starkare än gravitationen och omkring hundra gånger starkare än den elektromagnetiska kraften. Den starka kraften binder samman kvarkar till protoner, neutroner och andra hadroner och den håller också samman atomkärnorna som är uppbyggda av dessa protoner och neutroner.

Oddzialywanie silne
Oddziaływanie silne jest jednym z czterech oddziaływań uznanych za podstawowe. Spośród cząstek elementarnych silnie oddziałują tylko kwarki, antykwarki i gluony. Oddziaływanie to wiąże kwarki w obrębie hadronów (a więc i np. w obrębie protonu i neutronu).
Zgodnie z chromodynamiką kwantową, każdy kwark przenosi ładunek koloru (lub mówiąc prościej kolor) o jednej z możliwych wartości: czerwony, zielony lub niebieski. Te nazwy są czysto umowne i nie mają nic wspólnego ze zwykłymi kolorami, które postrzegamy wzrokiem. Każdy antykwark przenosi z kolei antykolor i oczywiście może to być odpowiednio: antyczerwony, antyzielony lub antyniebieski. Cząstki mogą istnieć samodzielnie jedynie jeśli mają neutralny kolor (a więc kwarki nie mogą istnieć samodzielnie!) - okazuje się, że jedyne dopuszczalne kombinacje to cząstka złożona z kwarków czerwonego, zielonego i niebieskiego (taka cząstka nazywana jest barionem) albo cząstka złożona z kwarka i antykwarka posiadającego odpowiedni w stosunku do kwarka antykolor (taka cząstka nazywana jest mezonem).
