Sport is an activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively. Sports commonly refer to activities where the physical capabilities of the competitor are the sole or primary determiner of the outcome (winning or losing), but the term is also used to include activities such as mind sports and motor sports where mental acuity or equipment quality are major factors.

ERT Digital (Greek: ΕΡΤ Ψηφιακή) is a pilot project from ERT, the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation. It is the first legal attempt of DVB-T broadcasting in Greece, featuring 3 all new digital television channels: Cine+, Prisma+ and Sport+. It officially launched in early 2006 and is fueling the transition to an all Digital TV transmission, required by the European Union to be complete till 2012. The project is being funded through ERT SA's budget and there is presently no advertising.

Sport - wg specjalistów - z nauk o wychowaniu fizycznym - są to rozmaite formy aktywności fizycznej i umysłowej, podejmowane dla przyjemności lub współzawodnictwa. Od "zwykłej rekreacji" ma go różnić przestrzeganie szeregu reguł obowiązujących w danej dyscyplinie.Według mniej popularnej, ale bardziej, wewnętrznie spójnej definicji sport to każda forma aktywności (fizycznej i umysłowej) podejmowana w celu rywalizacji - zbiorowej lub indywidualnej, w różnych grach i dyscyplinach ale też "z samym sobą", np. w alpinizmie czy sportach ekstremalnych. W ramach rekreacji, rozumianej tu jako odrębne pojęcie, brak jest elementu rywalizacji. Różne realizowane w jej ramach czynności, poza pracą czy nauką, są wykonywane w miejscu zamieszkania czy pobytu co różni ją z kolei od turystyki - podróży w celu poznawania świata i ludzi.

Lo Sport è l'insieme di quelle attività, fisiche e mentali, compiute al fine di migliorare e mantenere in buona condizione l'intero apparato psico-fisico umano e di intrattenere chi le pratica o chi ne è spettatore.Lo sport può essere praticato singolarmente o in gruppo (sport di squadra), senza fini competitivi oppure gareggiando contro altri sportivi. In quest'ultimo caso si parla di agonismo sportivo.
