Secondary neoplasm
A secondary neoplasm refers to any of a class of cancerous tumors that are either metastatic offshoots of a primary tumor, or apparently unrelated tumors that increase in frequency following certain cancer treatments, including chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

secondary cancer
A term that is used to describe either a new primary cancer or cancer that has spread from the place in which it started to other parts of the body.sedimentation rate The distance red blood cells travel in one hour in a sample of blood as they settle to the bottom of a test tube. The sedimentation rate is increased in inflammation, infection, cancer, rheumatic diseases, and diseases of the blood and bone marrow. Also called erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
