Das Sai [] (jap. 釵) oder auch Saigabel ist eine Waffe aus Okinawa, die unter anderem auch im Kobudo, Karate Verwendung findet. Die Jitte und das Manjisai sind Varianten des Sai.Das Sai ist ähnlich aufgebaut wie eine Gabel oder ein Dreizack. Es entwickelte sich aus einem Werkzeug der Fischer, welches dem Dreizack ähnelte, jedoch eine verlängerte Mittelforke besaß. Es diente dem Einholen großer Fische, der Netze und zur Schlachtung der Fische.Die Mittelzinke ist etwa doppelt so lang wie die beiden äußeren. Die Sai sind je nach Ausführung zwischen 45 cm und 52 cm lang (im besten Fall etwas länger als der Unterarm) und heute meist verchromt oder mattschwarz. Der Schaft ist zumeist rund oder oktagonal. Das Sai existiert in einer Vielzahl von Varianten.

Sai (釵) è il nome Ryukyu per un'arma tradizionale di Okinawa  anche usata in India, Cina, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailandia. La sua forma è essenzialmente composta da una sorta di bastone arrotondato e appuntito, con due lunghe proiezioni non affilate (tsuba) attaccate al manico. La parte finale del manico viene denominata tirapugni. I Sai vengono costruiti in varie forme: quelli Tradizionali sono arrotondati, mentre alcune riproduzioni hanno adottato un ottagono nel rostro centrale. Gli tsuba sono tradizionalmente simmetrici, tuttavia, il Sai chiamato Manji, sviluppato da Taira Shinken impiega due tsuba uno opposto all'altro.
