Sagrado
Sagrado (Bisiac: "Sagrà") is a
comune (municipality) in the
Province of Gorizia in the
Italian region
Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 35 km northwest of
Trieste and about 13 km southwest of
Gorizia. As of
31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,207 and an area of 14.1 km².The municipality of Sagrado contains the
frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Peteano, Poggio Terza Armata, San Martino del Carso, and Stazione Gradisca-San Martino.Sagrado borders the following municipalities:
Doberdò del Lago,
Farra d'Isonzo,
Fogliano Redipuglia,
Gradisca d'Isonzo,
Savogna d'Isonzo.
