Redux
Redux is an adjective, used postpositively. From Latin, it means “brought back”.The term has been adopted by film-makers to denote a new interpretation. This trend began with Apocalypse Now: Redux, which Francis Ford Coppola released in 2001, re-editing and extending his original 1979 movie. Pink Floyd The Wall Redux (2002) was a new version of the 1982 Pink Floyd movie, which changed the setting from World War II to the Vietnam War.
