A rake receiver is a radio receiver designed to counter the effects of multipath fading. It does this by using several "sub-receivers" called fingers, that is, se multipath component. Each finger independently decodes a single multipath component; at a later stage the contribution of all fingers are combined in order to make the most use of the different transmission characteristics of each transmission path. This could very well result in higher signal-to-noise ratio (or E_b/N₀) in a multipath environment than in a "clean" environment.

Die Rossendorfer Anordnung für kritische Experimente (RAKE) war ein Forschungsreaktor, der von 1969 bis 1991 am Forschungszentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (damals Zentralinstitut für Kernforschung) in Dresden-Rossendorf betrieben wurde. Der Nullleistungsreaktor hatte eine thermische Leistung von 10 Watt und wurde als Neutronenquelle ausschließlich zu Forschungs- und Ausbildungszwecken eingesetzt.

Walter Raeke (* 18. Oktober 1878 in Charlottenburg; † unbekannt) war ein deutscher Jurist und Abgeordneter der Hamburgischen Bürgerschaft und des Reichstags während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus.
