-{A|zh-hans:公共交通，或称公共运输;zh-hant:公共運輸、大眾運輸，或稱公共交通;}-，泛指所有收费提供交通服务的运输方式，也有极少数免费服务。公共交通系统由通路、交通工具、站点设施等物理要素构成。广义而言，公共运输包括民航、铁路、公路、水运等交通方式；狭义的公共交通是指城市定线运营的公共汽車及轨道交通、渡輪、索道等交通方式。公共交通（Public transport）分為大眾運輸（Mass transit）及共用交通運輸（或稱副大眾運輸、準大眾運輸；）。但在多數場合中，公共交通同義於大眾運輸。
