The ProFile was a hard drive produced by Apple Computer, initially for use with the Apple III personal computer. The original model had a formatted capacity of 5 MBs and connected to a special interface card that plugged into an Apple III slot. In 1983 Apple offered a ProFile interface card for the Apple II, with software support for ProDOS and Apple Pascal.

Został napisany przez Les Earnesta w 1971 roku. Os dedos são as extremidades dos membros dos mamíferos, mas também se dá este nome a alguns artículos dos apêndices de muitos artrópodes e de outros pequenos animais.Nos mamíferos, o número básico de dedos em cada membro é de cinco, mas muitas espécies perderam alguns deles no decurso da evolução - os perissodátilos, por exemplo, têm um número ímpar de dedos (os cavalos e outros equídeos tem um único dedo e os rinocerontes têm três) e os artiodátilos têm um número par. Nestes animais, os dedos são formados por dois ou três ossos, chamados falanges.

Introdução ao Finger O Finger é um comando de troca de informação sobre utilizadores. O protocolo descrito no RFC é um protocolo muito simples que permite aceder à informação sobre utilizadores de uma maquina remota. (o comando Finger também funciona numa maquina local, efectuando pedidos sobre utilizadores à própria maquina. Mas neste caso não é usado o protocolo de comunicação de redes)
