preferred modes indicator (PMI)
Every individual has a preferred mode(s), at both conscious and subconscious levels, determine the likely way in which situations will be perceived, reactions shaped and behavior molded. Those modes are usually well rooted in significant subsequent life events. (Similar to "Behavior Style Profile," which has the style name listed in parentheses ( ) below). The Four Modes are:
"Be Popular" (persuader) people have strengths which are likely to lie in their ability to get along with people. They are often good communicators.
"Be Careful" (organizer) people have strengths that lie in their reliability and ability to do exactly what they are told. They follow procedures carefully.
"Be Strong" (controller) People have strengths that are likely to lie in a desire to take control of most situations and ensure that results are obtained.
"Be Perfect" (analyst) people's strengths are likely to lie in their pursuit of high quality results in everything they do. Goal oriented.
