Pittsburgh International Airport , commonly shortened to PIT, is an international airport located in the Pittsburgh suburb of Findlay Township, approximately west of downtown Pittsburgh at Exit 6 of PA-60 (Future I-376) and the Northern Terminus of PA Turnpike 576 (Future I-576). It is owned and operated by the Allegheny County Airport Authority which also operates the Allegheny County Airport. PIT is primarily a passenger airport serving the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, providing 290 non-stop flights per day to 64 destinations via 31 airlines, but it also serves a role in air defense as well as general aviation and cargo flights.

L'aéroport international de Pittsburgh est situé approximativement à 30 kilomètres (20 Miles) à l'ouest du centre de Pittsburgh à la sortie 6 du PA-60 (Future I-376) et du terminus Nord du PA Turnpike 576 (Future I-576). PIT est principalement un aéroport civil opérant 186 vols non-stop par jour vers 49 destinations avec 28 compagnies aériennes. C'est aussi la base du Pittsburgh Joint Air Reserve Station.

Pit (ang. wgłębienie) – jest to wgłębienie w nośnikach optycznych, takich jak CD, DVD, HD DVD czy Blu-ray. Wiązka lasera jest albo rozpraszana (absorbowana) we wgłębieniu albo odbijana od powierzchni (land). Przy użyciu różnych algorytmów stopień odbicia lub rozproszenia wiązki lasera konwertowany jest na ciąg jedynek i zer. To wgłębienie jest od strony etykiety.
