Pickens Railway
Pickens Railway is a shortline railroad operating on two separate divisions in the Upstate Region of South Carolina:
Connections are made with the Norfolk Southern at Easley & Anderson and with the Greenville and Western Railway at Belton. Rail is 85-100 pounds on the Easley-Pickens segment and 85 pounds on the Anderson-Honea Path segment.

José del Río Sainz
José del Río Sainz (Santander1884 - Madrid1964).

Conocido popularmente por Pick por el seudónimo que utilizaba en sus escritos (a parte de El Peatón o Juan del Mar, entre otros), fue naveganteperiodista y gran poeta del mar. Fue nombrado Socio de Honor del Ateneo de Santander, en 1912 recibió el premio Fastenrath de la Real Academia Española por su libro "Versos del Mar" y otros poemas, y asimismo la Federación Nacional de Asociaciones de Prensa de España le elige Periodista de Honor. También realizó los arreglos pertinentes para que el Himno de Cantabria se aprobase como tal en 1987.
