Pacification
Pacification may refer to:the process or act of making peace or making someone or something quiet and peaceful; ora military or police action to disarm combatants. In colonial times it often referred to the conquest and subjugation of a people opposing a colonial power, especially in the term 'pacification expedition', which may be used as a euphemism for war.
