Pachysandra
Pachysandra is a genus of four or five species of evergreen groundcovers or subshrubs, belonging to the Boxwood Family, Buxaceae. The species are native to eastern Asia and southeast North America, some reaching a height of 20-45 cm, with only weakly woody stems. The leaves are alternate, leathery, with an entire to coarsely toothed margin, and range from 5-10 cm long. The name is derived from Pachys (thick) + andros (male) which is a reference to the thick stamens, the male portion of the flower.

Pachysandra
Ysander (Pachysandra) sind eine Pflanzengattung in der Familie der Buchsbaumgewächse (Buxaceae). Es gibt drei bis fünf Arten. Sie haben Areale im östlichen Asien und östlichen Nordamerika.

Runianka
Runianka (Pachysandra) - rodzaj roślin z rodziny bukszpanowatych. Należy tu 4 do 5 gatunków (w zależności od ujęcia systematycznego). Występują naturalnie we wschodniej Azji i wschodniej części Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce uprawiany jest jeden gatunek jako roślina okrywowa - runianka japońska.

Buxusfamilie
De Buxusfamilie (Buxaceae) is een familie van tweezaadlobbige, groenblijvende struiken en kruidachtige planten. De familie komt voor van gematigde streken tot in de tropen.
De familie telt 70 soorten in vier à vijf geslachten, waarvan in Nederland alleen de soort buxus (Buxus sempervirens), oude naam "palmboompje", uit het geslacht Buxus als sierheester en soms verwilderd voorkomt. De andere geslachten zijn:
Het Cronquistsysteem (1981) rangschikte de Buxusfamilie in de orde Euphorbiales. In het APG II systeem (2003) is de familie niet definitief toegewezen aan een orde. De van de Heukels is een stap verder en wijst de familie toe aan de orde Buxales, een keuze die ook gemaakt wordt door de APWebsite en de NCBI-site.

Pachysandra
Pachysandra es un género con 4 o 5 especies de arbustos perennes pertenecientes a la familia Buxaceae. Las especies son nativas del este de Asia y sudeste de Norteamérica, algunas alcanzan los 20-45 cm de altura, con débiles tallos leñosos. Las hojas son alternas, coriáceas con márgenes toscamente dentados y una longitud de 5-10 cm.
