OZONE is an object oriented operating system written in the C programming language. Almost everything in the kernel is an object (threads, processes, devices, files, event flags, etc) to which can be assigned logical names.On i686 based processors it uses the protection ring concept to a greater extend than the systems it was inspired by (VMS, Unix, Windows NT). As only small interrupt handlers run in kernel mode (ring 0) and what makes-up the actual kernel runs in exec mode (ring 1).Another feature is file system support for steganography ('hidden writing') where the interceptor of the data cannot tell if there is any data there or not, let alone decrypt it.

Ozone (O3) is a triatomic molecule, consisting of three oxygen atoms. It is an allotrope of oxygen that is much less stable than the diatomic O2. Ground-level ozone is an air pollutant with harmful effects on the respiratory systems of animals. Ozone in the upper atmosphere filters potentially damaging ultraviolet light from reaching the Earth's surface. It is present in low concentrations throughout the Earth's atmosphere. It has many industrial and consumer applications.  Ozone therapy is a controversial alternative medicine practice; mainstream scientific medicine has found ozone to be harmful to humans, and equipment intended to be used for ozone therapy is banned in the United States.

Ozon (O3) (von griechisch ozein „riechen“) ist ein aus drei Sauerstoffatomen bestehendes, instabiles Molekül, das innerhalb kurzer Zeit zu dimerem Sauerstoff zerfällt. Es ist ein starkes Oxidationsmittel.Ozon ist bei Zimmertemperatur und normalem Luftdruck gasförmig. Aufgrund seiner oxidierenden Wirkung ist es für den Menschen giftig. Häufig bei Ozonaufnahme ist heftiger Schläfenkopfschmerz. In hohen Konzentrationen riecht das Gas aufgrund der oxidierenden Wirkung auf die Nasenschleimhaut charakteristisch stechend-scharf bis chlorähnlich, während es in geringen Konzentrationen geruchlos ist. Die Geruchsschwelle liegt bei 40 µg/m3, allerdings gewöhnt man sich schnell an den Geruch und nimmt ihn dann nicht mehr wahr.

L'ozono (simbolo O3) è un gas dall'odore caratteristico, le cui molecole sono formate da tre atomi di ossigeno. Christian Friedrich Schönbein ne fu lo scopritore, durante esperimenti di ossidazione lenta del fosforo bianco e di elettrolisi dell'acqua. Presente negli strati alti dell'atmosfera, si forma da molecole di ossigeno (O2) in prossimità di scariche elettriche, scintille, fulmini.
