omnipresence

Omnipresence is the ability to be present in every place at any, and/or every, time; unbounded or universal presence. It is related to the concept of ubiquity, the ability to be everywhere at a certain point in time.This characteristic is most commonly used in a religious context, as most doctrines bestow the trait of omnipresence unto a superior, usually a deity commonly referred to as a god or goddess by monotheists. This idea differs from Pantheism in that an Omnipresent Divine is implied to be more aware and engaged whereas the Pantheistic Divine is literally the essence with which creation is made.

L'ubiquité est la capacité d'être présent en plusieurs lieux simultanément. Le terme est dérivé du latin « ubique » qui signifie « partout ». À l'origine, c'est un attribut divin. Ensuite le don d'être partout à la fois. Aujourd'hui, en informatique, la caractéristique d'un réseau ubiquitaire. En biologie, une protéine que l'on retrouve dans tous les types cellulaires est dite ubiquitaire.

Die Allgegenwart oder Allgegenwärtigkeit (lateinisch: Omnipräsenz oder Ubiquität) bedeutet allgemein zu jeder Zeit an jedem Ort präsent zu sein. Die Allgegenwart bezieht sich dabei sowohl auf Personen als auch auf unbelebte Gegenstände (z.B. auch als neues Produktmerkmal moderner Medienprodukte).
