Omnipresence or ubiquity is the property of being present everywhere. This characteristic is most commonly used in a religious context, as most doctrines bestow the trait of omnipresence onto a superior, usually a deity commonly referred to as God by monotheists, as with God in Christianity. This idea differs from Pantheism, which identifies the universe and divinity; in divine omnipresence, the divine and universe are separate, but the divine is present everywhere; see panentheism for a third variant.

Allgegenwart, Allgegenwärtigkeit, Omnipräsenz oder Ubiquität (lat.) steht für „überall vorkommend, allgemein verbreitet, allgegenwärtig, omnipräsent“:

• Allgegenwart (Theologie), die allumfassende Präsenz Gottes
• Ubiquist, eine weltweit verbreitete Pflanzen- oder Tierart
• Ubiquitous Computing, Paradigma der Informationstechnologie, das den Rechner in den Hintergrund treten lässt

L'ubiquité est la capacité d'être présent en plusieurs lieux simultanément. Le terme est dérivé du latin « ubique » qui signifie « partout ». À l'origine, c'est un attribut divin. Ensuite le don d'être partout à la fois. Aujourd'hui, en informatique, la caractéristique d'un réseau ubiquitaire. En biologie, une protéine que l'on retrouve dans tous les types cellulaires est dite ubiquitaire.

Allestädesnärvaro, att vara ubikvitär eller omnipresent (latin omnipraesentia, tyska Allgegenwart), innebär Guds närvaro i alla ting, överallt. Gud är allestädesnärvarande genom sin oändlighet, och allestädesnärvaron står i samband med Guds allmakt och allvetande.
