Occupational Hazard is Unsane's fourth studio album, released on January 27, 1998 through Relapse Records. The song "Committed" is featured on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater soundtrack.

Occupational safety and health (OSH) is a cross-disciplinary area concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goal of occupational safety and health programs is to foster a safe and healthy work environment. As secondary effects, OSH may also protect co-workers, family members, employers, customers, suppliers, nearby communities, and other members of the public who are impacted by the workplace environment as well as reduce medical care, sick leave and disability benefit costs. OSH may involve interactions among many subject areas, including occupational medicine, occupational (or industrial) hygiene, public health, safety engineering / industrial engineering, chemistry, health physics and ergonomics.

Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitssicherheit beschäftigen sich mit sicheren Arbeitsbedingungen (kurzfristige Einwirkung; z. B. Helmpflicht, Sicherheitsschuhe usw.), dem Gesundheitsschutz (langfristige = chronische sowie kurzzeitig auftretende = akute Einwirkung; z. B. Gefahrstoffe, Lärm, psychische Belastungen usw.) und dem personenbezogenen Schutz (z. B. Mutterschutz, Jugendschutz) bei der Arbeit. Im Betrieb kann er über ein Arbeitsschutzmanagement umgesetzt werden.

L'hygiène, la sécurité et les conditions de travail sont des notions récentes puisqu'elles sont apparues au XIXème siècle avec le développement industriel qui constituera le noyau dur autour duquel se construira progressivement le droit du travail; avec des premières mesures de protection au bénéfice des travailleurs les plus fragiles: les femmes et les enfants. On regroupe sous cette appellation une multitude de disciplines qui ont toutes pour but de supprimer ou tout au moins de limiter les effets nuisibles des activités humaines sur l'homme lui même et sur son environnement.
