Nous (, Greek: or ) is a philosophical term for mind or intellect. Outside of a philosophical context, it is used, in English, to denote "common sense," with a different pronunciation .

Noûs
Noûs is a philosophy journal published four times per year by Blackwell Publishing. It was founded by Hector-Neri Castañeda and is currently edited by Ernest Sosa. The journal states that it "publishes articles that address the whole range of topics at the center of philosophical debate, and long critical studies of important books."
