nonsense

Nonsens (non - nie, sens - znaczenie) - w potocznym znaczeniu - to wypowiedź fałszywa w sposób oczywisty. W logice: wyrażenie, nie będące zdaniem w sensie logicznym, pozbawione znaczenia (sensu), ze względu na błędne użycie kategorii semantycznych, rodzaj wypowiedzi nieinformującej. Innymi słowy, nonsens to wypowiedź nic nie znacząca, czyli nie pozwalająca się rozumieć w żaden określony sposób. Ponieważ nonsensy nie należą do kategorii zdań logicznych, nie są ani prawdziwe ani fałszywe.

Nonsens (af engelsk non-sense = "uden mening") er et udtryk, der bruges, når man vil markere, at en ytring er meningsløs. Ordet bruges næsten udelukkende nedsættende, dvs rettet mod en andens tekst eller tale, ofte endda med eftertryk: Nonsens!På Wikipedia bruges skabelonen for at foreslå en artikel slettet med henvisning til, at dens indhold er (eller påstås at være) meningsløs - set i forhold til det indhold, man kunne forvente af titlen.
