Nome ist eine Stadt im Nome Census Area des US-Bundesstaats Alaska.Die Region von Nome wurde von den Inuit jahrhundertelang als Jagdgründe genutzt, es gab jedoch nie eine feste Ansiedlung. 1889 fanden die Schweden Jafet Lindberg, Erik Lindblöm und John Brynteson Gold in der Nähe des heutigen Nome. So wurde schnell eine feste Siedlung gegründet, die bereits 1899 10.000 Einwohner hatte.

Il sostantivo è la parte variabile del discorso che indica una persona, un luogo, una cosa o, più in generale, qualsiasi entità animata, inanimata o pensata.
