Black Sabbath. The band's eighth album, it was released in October 1978 (see
1978 in music). This was the last Black Sabbath studio album with
Ozzy Osbourne. The album shows a departure from the glossy synth-laden period, to a more basic rock approach, though not in the vein of their original doom and gloom style.
