doctor who specializes in neuropathology, one who studies diseases of the nervous system
Neuropathology
Neuropathology is the study of
disease of nervous system tissue, usually in the form of either small surgical biopsies or whole autopsy brains. Neuropathology is a subspecialty of
anatomic pathology. A different and more academic view is that neuropathology has its home in the clinical neurosciences. This is certainly supported by the history of the discipline and its recent development.
