A raw image file (sometimes written RAW image file ) contains minimally processed data from the image sensor of a digital camera or image scanner. Raw files are so named because they are not yet processed and ready to be used with a bitmap graphics editor or printed. Normally, the image will be processed by a raw converter in a wide-gamut internal colorspace where precise adjustments can be made before conversion to an RGB file format such as TIFF or JPEG for storage, printing, or further manipulation.

La nef est la partie d'une église allant du portail à la croisée du transept et qui est comprise entre les deux murs latéraux. La nef comprend le vaisseau central et les éventuels collatéraux (il ne faut pas confondre nef et vaisseau). C'est le lieu principal où se tiennent les fidèles lors des célébrations et des offices. Le mot nef signifie au sens premier « navire ». C'est la raison pour laquelle il a été utilisé pour désigner cette partie de l'église. Le symbole du bateau pour désigner l'Église renvoie à l'enseignement de Jésus qui s'est souvent fait à partir d'une barque sur la mer de Galilée, où se trouvaient les tout premiers apôtres — symbole de l'Église naissante — qui y pêchaient.

RAW est un format de fichier pour les images numériques. Ce n'est pas un format standard, mais plutôt la désignation d'un certain type de fichier créé par des dispositifs tels que les appareils photo numériques ou les scanneurs et caractérisé par le fait d'avoir subi un minimum de traitement informatique.

Ñef war ein Buchstabe des bis 1928 benutzten osmanisch-türkisches Alphabets (siehe Osmanische Sprache), der nicht zum hocharabischen Alphabet gehörte. Er wurde zusätzlich zu den vier im Persischen hinzugefügten Buchstaben (Pe, Tsche, Že und Gaf) eingeführt, um den velaren n-Laut (in der turkologischen Umschrift mit ñ bezeichnet, IPA ) schreiben zu können. Das Ñef wird wie ein Kaf geschrieben, jedoch mit drei Punkten darüber. Es hat keinen Zahlenwert.

Nef (od łacińskiego navis - statek) - typ statku towarowego, stosowany w XII-XIII wieku Europie Zachodniej. Nef posiadał ciężki kadłub o podniesionym dziobie i rufie, z poszyciem na zakładkę, z wysoko sterczącymi zakończeniami dziobnicy i tylnicy. Miał jeden maszt z dużym żaglem rejowym, a ster wiosłowy umieszczony był po prawej burcie. Początkowo podczas wypraw wojennych ustawiano na dziobie i na rufie (a czasem na maszcie) zbudowane na słupkach kasztele z blankami do ochrony łuczników. Z czasem zaczęły się one pojawiać tam na stałe. Nefy używano we flotach francuskiej, angielskiej i hiszpańskiej.

RAW (ang. surowy) - ogólne określenie formatów zapisu danych bez nagłówków (informatyka). W fotografii cyfrowej rejestracja obrazu w formacie RAW pozwala na zachowanie najwyższej jakości obrazu oferowanej przez aparat (duża głębia koloru, brak kompresji stratnej), dając możliwość dokładnej obróbki pliku na komputerze. Plik w formacie RAW uważa się za cyfrowy odpowiednik negatywu, a ich konwersję za wywołanie. Wywołanie RAW-u można powtarzać np. dla różnego balansu bieli, ale jest procesem nieodwracalnym. Nie można przekształcić zdjęć np. w formacie jpg na format RAW.
