"Moth" / "Wolf Cub" is a collaborative release by the British musicians Burial and Four Tet. It was released exclusively on vinyl on 4 May 2009 by Kieran Hebden's own Text Records imprint. The limited run 12" vinyl had no label and was packaged in a completely black sleeve without liner notes. Neither the artists nor the record label have released any information about the album's content or production, save for the artists and track names.

A moth is an insect related to the butterfly, both being of the order Lepidoptera. Most of this order are moths; there are thought to be about 160,000 species of moth (nearly ten times the number of species of butterfly), with thousands of species yet to be described. Most species of moth are nocturnal, but there are crepuscular and diurnal species.

Als Nachtfalter werden die Vertreter der Großschmetterlinge bezeichnet, die nicht zu den Tagfaltern gehören. Keineswegs alle Nachtfalter sind tatsächlich nachtaktiv, die Widderchen beispielsweise fliegen nur bei Sonnenschein. Die meisten Nachtfalter zeichnen sich durch eine unscheinbare, düstere Färbung aus, durch die sie bei der Ruhe tagsüber gut getarnt sind. Viele Arten ahmen mit ihrer Flügelfärbung den Untergrund, zum Beispiel Baumrinde oder trockene Blätter nach. In der Umgangssprache werden sie bisweilen auch als Motten bezeichnet.

Les Hétérocères forment un sous-ordre fondé sur des observations morphologiques des imagos de lépidoptère. La classification actuelle se base sur des analyses phylogénétiques et rend ce taxon obsolète, mais ce terme continue d'être utilisé pour décrire les papillons dit de nuit. Ces papillons se distinguent par leurs couleurs sombres et peuvent vivre, selon les espèces, de jour comme de nuit.

Né en 1929 aux États-Unis, le Moth est une série à restrictions. Considéré comme un dériveur léger pouvant être construit « soi-même » (seules, la longueur et la surface de voile étaient imposées), il remporta très vite un franc succès.

Nattfjärilar är populärnamnet på de fjärilar som inte tillhör dagfjärilarna. De utgör inte någon enhetlig taxonomisk grupp. Till skillnad från dagfjärilar är de oftast hårigare och grövre, men det finns de nattfjärilar, så kallade mätare, som oftast förknippas med vissa dagfjärilar.
