Le mondo (aussi appelé mondo film, ou mondo movie) est un genre de cinéma d'exploitation caractérisé par une approche pseudo-documentaire très crue, dont le montage et le choix des images mettent en avant un aspect racoleur ou choquant du thème (en privilégiant par exemple l'exotisme, le sexe et la violence).

Unter dem Begriff Mondo (ital. für Welt) oder Mondo-Film wird eine Reihe von reißerischen Dokumentarfilmen zusammengefasst, die hauptsächlich in Italien in den 60ern und 70ern produziert wurden. Mondos führen den Zuschauer zumeist an exotische Schauplätze, wo er über fremde Sitten und Gebräuche staunen und sich über den harten Lebenskampf der dortigen Bevölkerung gruseln kann. Viele Mondo-Filme vermischen authentische mit gestellten Szenen.

Wen-da (dosłownie pytanie-odpowiedź) (kor. mundap ( ); jap. mondō ( ); (wiet. vo'n dap) - chiński termin związany z buddyzmem chan; dialog, rozmowa, seria pytań i odpowiedzi w duchu chan/zen. Używana przez mistrzów zen do badania stopnia rozwoju duchowego praktykującego chan/zen. Nie chodzi przy tym o wykazanie się teorią buddyzmu, lecz o spontaniczne odpowiedzi ukazujące wgląd w naturę Buddy.

Il Mondo è un nome per il pianeta Terra individuato da un punto di vista umano, come un luogo abitato da esseri umani.Soprattutto in un contesto metafisico, esso può anche fare riferimento a ogni cosa realizzata sulla realtà, l'universo.Il termine Mondo si usa per indicare il completo pianeta o la popolazione di qualsiasi distinta nazione o regione. Il termine Terra fa riferimento al pianeta come un'entità fisica, e distinguere essa dagli altri pianeti e oggetti fisici.
