Mexican Spanish, from
Nahuatl mulli or molli, "sauce") is the generic name for several
sauces used in
Mexican cuisine, as well as for dishes based on these sauces. In addition, it is also a way of designating a dish most of the rest of the world would consider a soup. In English, it often refers to a specific sauce which is known in Spanish by the more specific name mole poblano. The word is also widely known in the combined form
guacamole (avocado mole).

Damm in den See oder das Meer ragende Stein- oder Holzkonstruktion, meistens mit dem (Meeres-)Grund verbunden. Sie dient als
Wellenbrecher und/oder auf der
Leeseite als Anlegestelle für Boote und Schiffe. Molen können mehrere Hundert Meter lang ins Meer hinaus ragen und gerade oder gekrümmt gebaut sein. Oft ist eine Mole Teil eines

La mole (o grammomole, simbolo mol) è una delle sette
unità di misura base del
Sistema Internazionale.Tale numero è noto come
Numero di Avogadro, ed è approssimativamente pari a . In conseguenza di tale definizione, la mole di una sostanza chimica - elemento o composto - è approssimabile come una quantità di sostanza espressa in grammi che coincide numericamente con la
massa atomica o
molecolare della sostanza stessa. Ad esempio, data la massa atomica del
sodio, pari a 22,99, una mole di sodio corrisponde a 22,99 grammi (quantità in grammi uguale alla massa atomica). Analogamente, nel caso di una molecola come l'acqua, data la massa molecolare (H2O) pari a 18,016, si ottiene che una mole di acqua corrisponde a 18,016 grammi (quantità in grammi uguale alla massa molecolare). Talvolta si preferisce esplicitare i due casi usando le denominazioni alternative di grammoatomo (mole di un elemento) e grammomolecola (mole di un composto).
