Memory
In psychology, memory is the processes by which information is encoded, stored, and retrieved. Encoding allows information that is from the outside world to reach our senses in the forms of chemical and physical stimuli. In this first stage we must change the information so that we may put the memory into the encoding process. Storage is the second memory stage or process. This entails that we maintain information over periods of time. Finally the third process is retrieval. This is the retrieval of information that we have stored. We must locate it and return it to our consciousness. Some retrieval attempts may be effortless due to the type of information.

Gedächtnis
Unter Gedächtnis versteht man die Fähigkeit des Nervensystems von Lebewesen, aufgenommene Informationen zu behalten, zu ordnen und wieder abzurufen. Die gespeicherten Informationen sind das Ergebnis von bewussten oder unbewussten Lernprozessen, die Fähigkeit zur Gedächtnisbildung ist Ausdruck der Plastizität von neuronalen Systemen. Im übertragenen Sinne wird das Wort Gedächtnis auch allgemein für die Speicherung von Informationen in anderen biologischen und technischen Gebieten benutzt.

HEAP
HEAP - Jeden z mechanizmów składowania bazy MySQL, służący do przechowywania danych. Jego charakterystyczną cechą jest nietrwałość przechowywanych informacji - wszystkie przechowywane są tylko w pamięci RAM serwera i znikają wraz z zakończeniem działania serwera MySQL. Jednakże korzystanie tylko z pamięci daje prędkość niemożliwą do osiągnięcia w przypadku innych mechanizmów składowania. Z tego powodu, jego główne zastosowanie to tworzenie rozmaitych buforów cache i przechowywanie tymczasowych informacji, których utrata nie powoduje większych szkód.

Pamiec czlowieka
Pamięć jest to jedna z funkcji ludzkiego umysłu, zdolność poznawcza do przechowywania, magazynowania i odtwarzania informacji o doświadczeniach. Pamięć jest przedmiotem badań psychologii kognitywnej.
Istnieją różne sposoby klasyfikacji pamięci w zależności od czasu jej trwania, charakteru i sposobu przypominania.
Główne etapy tworzenia i przywoływania pamięci, z punktu widzenia przetwarzania informacji, to:
- zapamiętywanie (zachowywanie)
- przechowywanie informacji (magazynowanie)
- przypominanie (odtwarzanie)
