Maze
Maze is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kalinowo, within Elk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately north-east of Kalinowo, east of Elk, and east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

A maze is a tour puzzle in the form of a complex branching passage through which the solver must find a route. In everyday speech, both maze and labyrinth denote a complex and confusing series of pathways, but technically the maze is distinguished from the labyrinth, as the labyrinth has a single through-route with twists and turns but without branches, and is not designed to be as difficult to navigate. The pathways and walls in a maze or labyrinth are fixed (pre-determined) – puzzles where the walls and paths can change during the game are categorised as tour puzzles. The Cretan labyrinth is the oldest known maze.

Maze (deutsch: Maaschen, 1938–1945 Maschen (Ostpreußen)) ist ein zur Gemeinde Kalinowo zählendes Dorf im nordöstlichen Masuren in der polnischen Woiwodschaft Ermland-Masuren, Landkreis Elk.

Irrgarten
Ein Irrgarten ist eine Gartenanlage mit einem verzweigten, kunstvoll-komplizierten Wegesystem, das idealerweise von übermannshohen Hecken gebildet wird. Die Besonderheit des Hecken-Irrgartens besteht in einem Gefühl des zeitweiligen Gefangenseins durch Hindernisse aus blickdichten und undurchdringlichen Hecken. Gelungene Anlagen sind Meisterwerke der Gartenkunst.

Maże – wieś w Polsce położona w województwie warmińsko-mazurskim, w powiecie ełckim, w gminie Kalinowo.
W latach 1975-1998 miejscowość administracyjnie należała do województwa suwalskiego.

Maze (irl. An Cheis Fhada) specjalnie zbudowane więzienie w Long Kesh na przedmieściach Lisburn w Północnej Irlandii, gdzie w jednym ze skrzydeł budynku trzymano internowanych członków IRA, a w drugim członków protestanckich organizacji paramilitarnych np. (UVF, UDA, UFF). Strategia internowania okazała się bezskuteczna z powodu połączonej akcji zastraszania i strajków głodowych.
