Master's degree
A master's degree is a postgraduate academic degree awarded after the completion of a program of one to four years in duration.In the recently standardized European system of higher education diplomas, it corresponds to a two years postgraduate program undertaken after at least three years of undergraduate studies Licence, similar to the U.S. Bachelor's level, to obtain higher qualification (5 or more, usually 6, years of studies), for employment or in preparation for doctoral studies. In the U.S. and Canada, a master's degree entails a one- or two–year course in which students would normally enroll after completing a bachelor's degree. A master's degree is required for licensing in some professions.
